Jun's violin studio provides exceptional one-on-one lessons and experiences in the greater Irvine area. The curriculum is tailored to fit the needs of each student, helping them discover their artistry and build a solid musical foundation for grade exams, competitions, auditions and recitals.
About Jun
A sought-after teacher and violinist, Jun Zhu hails from Guilin, China, where he began his musical studies at age 4. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Sacramento State School of Music and a master’s degree from Boston Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Lynn Chang. He is currently an active member of the musical community in around Sacramento, performing regalarly in recitals, chamber music, and with the Folcolm Lake Symphony Orchestra.
Jun has many years of experience as a teacher for all levels, from beginner to advanced. The purpose of his teaching is to build and cultivate a healthy relationship between the students, music, and their instruments, by adapting to the constantly evolving demands of recitals, exams, and contests.

Home Lessons
I will come and teach you or your kids at your home, so you can save time and trouble.
Approachable
As my student, you are welcome to call or text me any time regarding questions you may have during practice. I make myself highly approachable and develop a close bond with my students.
Flexible
Scheduling is flexible- if you are busy in a certain week, we can reschedule the lesson for another time free of penalty.
No contract- you can start and stop the lessons at any time as you wish.

My students enter frequently various types of music competition to get rewards for their practice.
Recitals
Students play for recitals periodic to showcase their talent and create good memory.
Auditions
We audition frequently local orchestras, festivals and schools to make musical connections
